Thank you for your service. I had a friend in the CAV around that same time. His tour ended on Tet–as they sat in the plane about to take off for the States, they were all thinking they’d be forced to deplane and start all over again. It took off though.

I agree that 912 [note: capitol police's final count= 2.1 MILLION!!] was a watershed event which showed everyone that we are not alone; and for every ONE who was there, there is an average of 100 others who agree with us, share our concerns, and would have been there had they been able. 80 buses were turned away on Saturday the 12th and I watched people streaming into the city for DAYS–I arrived on the 9th and saw our numbers build for 3 days!
It IS great to be an American and to know that there are so many of us who love our country and our Republic and its Constitution. It’s so great to hear from people like you–we inspire and motivate each other to keep going!
I attended the wake of Ft. Hood terrorist attach victim Pvt. Michael Pearson today in Joliet, IL and then went to a meeting to work on debate questions for candidates challenging Melissa Bean for her Congressional seat. I am so deeply honored to be working with so many fine Americans. Together we can take back our country and prevent another Ft. Hood Massacre. Thank you for tuning in!
